Franciscan Home Care

This building houses the offices of Franciscan Home Care. Built in the 1740s, it was the farm home of the Walter family who owned the property for many years. In 1982 it was renovated for the Franciscan Life Center. The original wood floors and beams as well as the stone fireplaces were preserved in the renovation.

Franciscan Home Care is licensed by the State of Connecticut to serve patients in 30 towns. Known for their compassionate and caring services, the agency's nurses, therapists, home health aides and social workers bring the mission of Franciscan Home Care to those in need of health services at home.
