Franciscan Sports Banquet and Silent Auction

The 28th Annual Franciscan Sports Banquet and Silent Auction to benefit the Franciscan Life Center and Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT.

This year’s event is a tribute to Coach Jim Calhoun. Jack McDonald, Athletic Director at  Quinnipiac University, will receive the Saint Francis Award and John Mirabello, Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, CT will receive the Dean of Sports Award.  Join us for an evening of special guests which include Joe D’Ambrosio, WTIC Sports Talk Host, Kevin Ollie, Head Coach, Men’s Basketball, UCONN, Tom Moore, Head Coach, Men’s Basketball, Quinnipiac University, Steve Pikiell, Head Coach, Men’s Basketball, Stony Brook University and Jake Voskuhl, former NBA Player and UCONN Husky.
