CHILDREN'S SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
for children ages 6-12 is held during three weeks from June to August.

Activities include: Art, Music, Animal Care, Gardening, Storytelling, Baking, Drama, Sports, and other educational activities.

A Hands-on Experience
Sister Regina Cochran, FSE, youth assistants and participants in the Franciscan Land-based Summer Experiences enjoy feeding the goats, one of many activities of the week-long experiences made possible, in-part, by The Cuno Foundation, The James H. Napier Foundation and The Naugatuck Savings Bank Foundation. Other land-based experiences include gardening, crafts, baking, and good old-fashioned fun.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR TEENS was held June 27- July 1, 2011. The Program was filled to capacity with 13 year olds who enjoyed experiences of low and high outdoor
challenge course activities,
group discussions
and role playing exercises with special focus on communication skills, teamwork,
problem-solving and building self-esteem.
